Associate Paid Media Director (Contract-to-Perm)

In this role, you will work across our client portfolio to define and execute strategic media plans, optimize campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to meet and exceed our partners’ objectives. You’ll deliver exceptional insights, reporting, and optimization strategies, ensuring that media spend is maximized for ROI. You’ll build strong relationships internally and externally through excellence in delivery, communication, and strategic media analysis. We’re looking for someone with a robust paid media background, eager to learn new industries and drive successful media campaigns to market.

This is a contract-to-perm role, with an opportunity for conversion based on performance after three months. This role is based in NYC (Brooklyn Heights) with a flexible hybrid work schedule. 

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Reporting:
    • Generate in-flight and post-campaign reports for paid media and on-site marketing campaigns.
    • Provide bi-weekly updates and deeper reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain dashboards in Google Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze campaign data using platform-reported metrics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization at platform, audience, and placement levels: navigating platforms and GA4 to formulate key outtakes and patterns.
  • Insights Development:
    • Develop actionable insights to improve campaign performance and conversion rates.
    • Tirelessly seek out stories within big datasets to inform strategic decisions.
  • Client Presentations:
    • Develop narrative-driven decks and reports that relay key insights simply and effectively to various stakeholders.
    • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, compelling manner
    • Develop and pitch recommendations to help clients better integrate their digital marketing and sales strategies and optimize their ad spend.
  • Work closely with paid media strategy and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Ensure that there is never a gap in service for our clients, even if it means rolling up your sleeves.  
  • Contribute to new business proposals and pitches, helping grow the agency’s profile and our client portfolio. 
  • Work to help shape our agency processes and our overall approach to media.
  • Mentor and support team members in and outside of the media team.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of agency-based brand and campaign creative experience, with preferably 2 years of experience working on B2B or Healthcare campaigns.
  • Comfortable navigating ad manager platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google Search and YouTube, Bing, and StackAdapt programmatic display.
  • Deep technical expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and experience maintaining dashboards in Google Looker Studio.
  • Operates with an analytical mindset and inquisitiveness, always looking one level deeper for insights.
  • Maintains strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Concise communication across all mediums, internally and externally. Excellent narrative-building skills, and ability to present complex data insights clearly and compellingly throughout all decks and documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, grow, and extend meaningful client relationships.
  • Expert in communicating ideas in slides and across GSuite, and presenting internally and externally. 
  • Work well under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and eagerness to incorporate feedback gracefully. 
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and collaborative nature, with the ability to adapt to new situations, think on your feet, and communicate openly and proactively with those around you.
  • Comfortable working in a fluid environment utilizing soft skills: active listening, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and decision-making.

Hourly:  $90-$110/hour depending on experience with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on individual performance and business need.
